Poland

HEILIT+WOERNER Budowlana Sp.z o.o. was established in Poland in 1993 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of HEILIT+WOERNER Bau GmbH . With the modernization of the expressway section A 12 Glonice-Krzywa in 1995 using the concrete pavement method, HEILIT+WOERNER Budowlana pointed the way ahead in Poland in terms of engineering technology.
Two concrete paving train and two concrete mixing plants from HW are now used exclusively in Poland. These versatile machines are employed both for road and airport construction.

[1] Okecie Warschau Airport
Demolition and replacement of the concrete pavement on aircraft aprons and taxiways using the proven HW slipforming method.

[2,4] National road 1
This road improvement contract encompassed milling work, laying a new pavement, drainage work, traffic lights and rehabilitation of five bridge structures.

[3] Katowice Airport
Thanks to our slipforming method, we considerably shortened the construction schedule and achieved a concrete pavement of greater evenness than specified by the Owner.

[5] National Road 8
The road pavement was resurfaced using the hot remixing method. A top course of stone-filled mastic asphalt was laid, and new safety barriers were constructed or existing ones rebuilt. The contract also included replacing the drainage system and constructing sidewalks, as well as 8,000 m of guard rails.
