HEILIT+WOERNER system solutions for the rail transport of the future

Rigid tracks in concrete offer the best solution for high-speed railroad lines in terms of engineering and cost. HEILIT+WOERNER Bau GmbH offers several rigid track systems, as well as a large number of alternatives for various applications, which puts it among the worldwide leaders in the construction industry. HW has laid some 240 kilometers of Rheda type rigid track alone.

New systems from HW, providing higher cost effectiveness and greater safety, have been either certified or granted field test approval by the German Federal Railroad Office, or are currently being developed or tested.

[1] New Cologne-Rhine/Main line, Hallerbachtal bridge
Rigid track construction on the 997m long Hallerbachtal bridge using special equipment from HW.

[2] System Rheda Rigid Track
To assure cost-effective construction, it is necessary for individual processes, in particular, to be planned in detail in advance in connection with the preparatory activities, with the availability of special equipment being taken into consideration.

[3] New Cologne Rhine/Main line
Along the new Cologne-Rhine/Main railroad line, HEILIT+WOERNER constructed approximately 130 kilometers of rigid track on soil bodies or in tunnels and troughs, as well as on bridges. HW slipform paver preceded by the reinforcement laying machine during placement of the continuously reinforced concrete trough.
