Environmental Protection at Work

In addition to our special equipment, construction materials also play a major role in the competition for contracts. What are wanted in today's competitive arena are cost-effective alternatives and - increasingly - environmental protection. So it was only logical for us to play a leading role in efforts aimed at recycling old concrete pavement into aggregates for new concrete pavements or for unstabilized base courses underneath the new concrete pavement. These construction methods enable 100 % of the old concrete pavement to be reused. Another noteworthy accomplishment is our ability to produce an only 4-cm thick upper course of concrete with a maximum aggregate size of 8 mm. This assures that the concrete pavement offers durable skidding resistance and keeps noise emissions to a minimum.

 | [1, 2] Crushing and screening plants
The prerequisites for cost-effective recycling of old roadbuilding construction materials consist of equipment that is tailored to the special needs of recycling operations in the field of road construction - in particular, high performance coupled with fast mobilization and demobilization. Our key equipment in this connection consists of powerful crushing and screening plants. |

[3] Mobile crushing and screening plant
This mobile crushing and screening plant that enables a valuable raw material, in this case old concrete pavement, to be processed into raw materials for roadbuilding right where it is needed was developed to afford fast and cost-effective rehabilitation of freeways. This eliminates the need for costly shipping.
 | [4] Baggregate crushing and screening plant for jobsites
It is especially cost-effective and environmentally benign to be able to process construction materials in the direct vicinity of where they are excavated. A classic example: Processing gravel aggregate from excavated material with our simple and easy-to-install, yet powerful screening and washing plants. |
