System Description

  • Frost blanket in accordance with the required frostproof composition
  • Use of prestressed concrete ties with certified rail fasteners (e.g. IOARV 300)
  • Glued dowel for fastening of prestressed concrete sleepers to the asphalt base course
  • Use of UIC 60 ribbon rails or contractor‘s rails
  • Sound-absorbing linings and soundproofing equipment, as required
  • Field testing approval dated July. 6, 1994
  • Tested in field service on the network of DB AG since 10/94
  • Application for certification filed with the Eisenbahn- Bundesamt (EBA)
