System Description

  • Frost blanket in accordance with the required frostproof composition
  • Cement-bound base or unbound base, designed according to the UIC 71 load pattern
  • Reinforced concrete trough, designed according to the UIC 71 load pattern
  • Use of prestressed monobloc ties or conventionally reinforced twin-block ties with certified rail fasteners (e.g. IOARV 300-1)
  • Lean-mixed concrete with reinforcement for fastening the concrete ties in the concrete trough Use of UIC 60 ribbon rails or contractor‘s rails
  • Sound-absorbing linings and soundproofing equipment, as well as safety and guidance devices as required
  • EBA certification dated May 26, 1997 (Rheda with 2.40m monobloc ties)
  • EBA certification dated Feb. 18, 2000 (Rheda with twin-block ties)
